Ordering on-line with Sweet Surprises couldn’t be simpler or safer, the steps below explain how the order process works and the relevant information you will need. Don’t forget, if you register with us this process becomes even easier, as your contact and address details will automatically be saved for future ordering.

Prices on our website do not include delivery charges. We will automatically calculate the shipping and packaging cost after you have entered your order and the address for delivery. You will be notified of your shipping costs before you are asked to commit your order or provide your payment details.

There is a minimum order of $15.00. This means that the products in your shopping basket will need to total $15.00 or more, and the delivery costs will automatically be added at checkout.


We offer standard and express delivery via Australia Post.

Standard Delivery shipping orders are processed within 2 business days and shipped Monday through Friday. Most orders usually arrive within 3-5 business days to most locations.

Express Delivery orders requiring must be placed by 9 am AEST Monday through Thursday, to be processed on the same day (pending stock availability). Orders placed after 9 am AEST will be processed on the next business day. Orders placed on Friday will be processed on the following Monday.

We guarantee delivery of your order to the door. Please provide specific instructions regarding delivery alternatives if this condition is not likely to be suitable. Unfortunately we can take no further responsibility for your order or gift once they have been delivered.

Due to the nature of importing and product availability substitutions with a similar item of equal or greater value may be necessary to ensure your arrangement or specialty gift is delivered in a timely manner. The overall design, theme, colour and quality of the gift will not be compromised in any way. Should a container become unavailable, we will contact you immediately to suggest a substitute container or Gift Basket.

Please NOTE: There is a short delay between online orders and an update of stock availability as in store stock levels may vary very quickly.

In the unlikely event that an order is placed and an item becomes out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer a substitute with a similar item of equal or greater value or alternatively provide you with a refund.

Warm Weather Delivery

If your parcel will be exposed to heat over 26 degrees Celsius, we strongly recommend that your order be held until weather conditions permit your order to be dispatched. In this instance we will notify you for instructions. We cannot guarantee the condition of your chocolate should you wish your order to be dispatched during warm weather conditions.

Note: All refunds for orders placed online, over the telephone or by way of facsimile are credited back to the original method of payment.

Searching our Products

You can search for our products in a variety of ways using the collection menus or the drop down lists on the search navigation bar.

Using your Basket

Simply choose the quantity (this is 1 by default) and click the “add to basket”. Your choice will automatically be added to the basket.


Once you have completed your selections click on “View Basket” to review your choices. If you are pleased with the contents of your basket click “Check Out”. You will now be asked to login if you haven’t already done so or register if you are a new user. At this point all information is sent through a secure connection. This procedure requires an email address and password. A confirmation email will automatically be sent to your email address.


All purchases are made in Australian dollars; you can pay by Pay Pal, Credit Card, EFT or with a Gift Voucher.

If your total order amount is less than the value of your Voucher, we will save the remaining voucher credit for your next order. If your total order amount is greater than the value of your voucher, we will request you to pay the difference by credit card or Pay Pal. Once you have confirmed your order and payment details, a confirmation email will immediately be sent to your email address.
